Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have unveiled major additions for The Division 2, including full crossplay support launching this November and the upcoming Echoes of Central Park expansion. Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have detailed an ambitious roadmap for Tom Clancy's The Division 2, revealing several long-awaited features and new content drops designed to support the looter-shooter well into its future. Crossplay Arrives in November One of the most requested features since the game launched in 2019 is finally becoming a reality: full cross-platform play. Starting in November, players across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox will be able to matchmake and team up in the same online pool. Implementing the feature required the development team to partially rebuild the title's online infrastructure. Crossplay will be enabled by default upon release, though players who prefer platform-restricted matchmaking will have the option to turn it off directly from the character selection screen. To accompany the expanded matchmaking pool, clan capacity is also expanding from 50 to 100 members. Next Expansion: Echoes of Central Park In addition to technical updates, Ubisoft announced the title's next major DLC expansion: Echoes of Central Park. The DLC will take agents into Manhattan's iconic park for the very first time following an emergency distress call. In the lore of The Division, Central Park was utilized as a mass burial site during the early days of the outbreak before being abandoned. Massive Entertainment teased a darker, mystery-focused tone leaning into atmospheric tension. The developers plan to showcase a deeper look at the expansion during a dedicated broadcast on September 24. Seasonal Content and Beyond The roadmap also outlines regular seasonal support ahead of the expansion.
